Our Story Prairie Cross Books was founded on a simple conviction: Jesus Christ is the Author of the greatest story ever told.
Long before a single novel was written, God was writing the story of redemption—a story of creation, man's fall into sin, the sacrifice of His only begotten Son, and the promise of eternal life to all who repent and place their faith in Jesus Christ.
Every other story worth telling finds its meaning in that one. We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. It is the foundation for truth, the standard for life, and the only message that offers genuine hope to a fallen world. Everything we publish is guided by that conviction. At Prairie Cross Books, our mission is not merely to entertain. Our desire is to publish compelling fiction that honors Christ, upholds biblical truth, and points readers toward the hope found in Him.

While our novels are works of fiction rather than Scriptures, we strive to follow that example by telling stories that illuminate timeless biblical principles through authentic characters, meaningful conflict, sacrifice, redemption, forgiveness, courage, and grace.

As followers of Christ, we also recognize the command given by our Lord to "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations..." While the local New Testament church is God's ordained institution for carrying out the Great Commission, we pray that the books we publish will encourage believers, strengthen families, spark meaningful conversations, and, by God's grace, point readers to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
Our prayer is simple. That every book bearing the Prairie Cross Books name would glorify God, honor His Word, encourage His people, and faithfully proclaim that salvation is found in Christ alone.
